Who is Dixie Painter?
Dixie Painter is an author of paranormal/fantasy, romance, fairy tale & mafia romance novels. She lives near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband Grizz (who may or may not be a shifter, and she won't tell), and their furry feline overlord, Captain Chaos. When she's not at her day job, or busy being a writer, she's a true-crime junkie.
Magical Love Series
The Magical Love Series, is set in a small town south of Pittsburgh. "Madgickal" Maryvell is based on a very real town I spent a good bit of time in while I was growing up. While I call this a series, because characters cross over throughout the books, each book certainly can be read as a standalone.
Maryvell, Pennsylvania, is the quintessential quiet, quaint, town. Or, so it seems. But the small town harbors secrets, old curses, and a darkness that seems to have taken over.
Each book follows a different couple in the town, the development of their relationship, their ties to other residents of the town, and their battle against the darkness.
Fairy Twisted Tales
A fairy twisted tale happens when a favorite fairy tale, is twisted up and retold in an all-new way.
